After you leave Gizamaluke's Grotto go to Vube Desert and walk around until you encounter a Nymph, after eating it Quina will learn Night, which is a blue magic that puts everyone to sleep unless they are immune or have insomniac equiped. Afterwards take a small detour to find the treasure location of the Healing Shore Chocograph, which will grant Choco the ability to cross rivers.
Then it's time to gain a huge boost in levels! Go back to Gizamaluke's Grotto to the place where the Moogle couple is located, climb up and you'll reach the dreaded Popos Heights. Save your game.
Before the battle starts make sure Quina only as 1 HP left, also make sure that every character as the antibody ability equipped and that at least Quina as the insomniac ability equipped as well. Don't forget to also have a character equipped with the Coral Ring so that he/she can absorb thundaga.
Now that you are ready walk around until you encounter a Grand Dragon. Start by having Quina cast Night on it so that it falls a sleep, then use limit glove to cause 9,999 damage per turn. Don't bother attacking with the other characters simply use them to revive any fallen character. Two limit gloves are enough to defeat a Grand Dragon just make sure that Quina as only 1 HP left.
You can also battle a Garuda in the forest at Popos Heights, eat him and Quina will learn White Wind that way she can work as your white mage.
Then I find the location of two more chocographs: Bird's Eye Lagoon and Small Beach, which have some decent treasures.
Bird's Eye Lagoon: Potion x8, Phoenix Down x4, Ether x3 and Magician Robe x1
Small Beach: Remedy x4, Elixir x2, Rising Sun x8 and Oak Staff x1

Final Fantasy IX (ファイナルファンタジーIX Fainaru Fantajī Nain?) is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square for the PlayStation video game console. Originally released in 2000, it is the ninth title in the Final Fantasy series and last to debut on the original PlayStation console. In 2010, it was re-released as a PSone Classics title on the PlayStation Network. The game introduced new features to the series like the "Active Time Event", "Mognet", and a unique equipment and skill system.
Final Fantasy IX's plot centers on a war between nations. Players follow a young thief named Zidane Tribal, who joins with others to defeat Queen Brahne of Alexandria, the one responsible for starting the war. The plot shifts, however, when the characters realise that Brahne is working with an even more threatening person called Kuja.
Final Fantasy IX was developed alongside Final Fantasy VIII, but took a different approach by returning to the more traditional style of the early Final Fantasy games. Consequently, Final Fantasy IX was influenced significantly by the original Final Fantasy game, and features allusions to other titles in the series. It was released to critical acclaim and holds the highest Metacritic score of all Final Fantasy installments. Final Fantasy IX was commercially successful, selling 5.30 million units worldwide by March 31, 2003.
Ports for iOS and Android were released in February 2016, while a port for Microsoft Windows was released in April 2016. (source wikipedia).
