A common go-to snack for college students is cottage cheese. It's loaded with protein and you can buy it practically anywhere but it can go bad really quickly because of its short shelf life. Well, here's the easiest trick in the world to keep it fresh longer. After you finish eating, put it back in the fridge and just store it upside down. Inverting the container creates a vacuum effect that stifles the growth of bacteria that can cause the food to spoil. So flipping it upside down will keep it fresher. Try it and see.
